Ask any serious web designer what the biggest, nastiest waste of time and resources is and the answer will be unanimous : Internet Explorer 6. This version of the popular browser was released back in 2001 and still accounts for roughly 20% of all internet users. It is slow, insecure, it renders pages incorrectly and that’s just naming a few of it’s many defects.
Enter IE6 Update. This small Javascript displays a banner at the top of every page for IE 6 users that urges them to update to a more recent, more performant version of IE.
From now on, all Tigrish clients with WordPress accounts have the IE6 Update plugin installed by default so that we can speed up the death of this dreadful browser together.
